California World in a Week

Synopsis: Created in the 1960s by United Airilines, \"California World in a Week\" begins with historical images of the California Gold Rush of 1849 and transitions to the modern traveler who visits by United DC-8 jet. The film shows many of the scenic parks and beaches in the Golden State as well as various monuments including San Simeon, San Francisco and SFO Airport, Nob Hill, the Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman\'s Wharf, Chinatown, Sutter\'s Fort, ghost towns, the Santa Ynez Valley, Solvang, Santa Barbara, Los Angeles, freeways, Westwood, Beverly Hills, Paramount Pictures, MGM, Twentieth Century Fox, a studio backlot, CBS Television City, Grauman\'s Chinese Theater, Marineland of the Pacific, Malibu, San Diego, and Palm Springs.
